Mary Had a Little Lamb

Mary had a little lamb its fleece was white as snow;
And everywhere that Mary went, the lamb was sure to go.

We have all learned and recited the nursery rhyme about Mary and her lamb. It is a sweet poem and made me wonder if lambs would make a good pets.

Research on keeping a lamb for a pet was sparse which leads me to think not many have considered the option. Before you plan on raising a lamb you need to realize that they do not stay small and cute and are a huge responsibility. They grow to become quite large, strong and consume most anything eatable.
